Scheduling conference sessions is challenging. Every time you assign a speaker to a time and room, you have to ensure that:

1. the speaker will be there on the day you want to book them
2. the speaker is not scheduled to speak in another room at the same time
3. the room has the equipment the speaker needs
4. the room is the right size for the expected audience draw for that speaker
5. the speaker’s topic is unopposed at that time
6. themed presentations are scheduled together

Time is valuable and it can take hours, days, even weeks to manually create a schedule that works with all of the above constraints. With Juggler you avoid the cost, frustration and wasted time of hand building a schedule and having to repeatedly modify it as the conference date gets closer and closer.

The Solution

Using data from spreadsheets you already have as a result of your conference planning Juggler builds schedules that respect the following constraints and allow for the easy introduction of new constraints.

1. Constraints between Presenters and Time - Every presenter's availability is respected.
2. Constraints between Presenters - No presenter will ever be scheduled to be in more than one place at one time. Different presenters can be constrained to not present at the same time.
3. Room attribute constraints - Presentations will be scheduled in rooms that have the required attributes and equipment, for example, accessibility or A/V.

4. Constraints between Presentations and Room Size - Every scheduled presentation will be in a room that is large enough to accommodate its expected draw.

5. Theme constraints - Themed presentations will always be scheduled together in sessions.

6. Constraints between Presentations - Unopposed presentations, like keynote addresses, will be unopposed. Different presentations can be constrained to not be at the same time.
